York Regional Police’s Asian Heritage Month Celebration
May 25, 2019
On Saturday, May 25, Senator Ngo was graciously invited by the York Regional Police, in collaboration with the Canadian Multicultural Council – Asians in Ontario, to their 2019 Asian Heritage Month celebration, which took place at the York Regional Police Headquarters in Aurora, Ontario.
Every year in May, Asian Heritage Month represents a wonderful opportunity to recognize the important contributions that Canadians of Asian descent continue to make to Canada’s diversity and prosperity. It is also a time to come together and celebrate the very best of the many Asian cultures and traditions that have shaped the multicultural mosaic of Canadian society.
Senator Ngo was very thankful to the York Regional Police and the CMC-AO for their continued cooperation and success in preserving and promoting Asian culture and heritage in greater Toronto and beyond.
