Canadian Multicultural Council’s 16th Asian Heritage Month Gala

May 5, 2019

On Sunday, May 5, the Canadian Multicultural Council – Asians in Ontario (CMC-AO) welcomed Senator Ngo among thousands of guests to their 16th Annual Asian Heritage Month Award Gala, which took place at the Premier Ballroom & Conventional Centre in Toronto.

Every May, we take the occasion to mark Asian Heritage Month by recognizing the remarkable achievements of Asian Canadians throughout our country’s history. Asian Heritage Month also serves to celebrate Canada’s diversity and the many cultural traditions that have shaped our country’s identity over generations. Senator Ngo encourages all Canadians to take part in Asian Heritage Month events across Canada to learn more about the many Asian cultures and traditions that are at once unique and integral parts of our Canadian society.

Senator Ngo warmly thanks Mr. Jae Chong, President of the CMC-AO, as well as all of the organizers, community leaders and volunteers involved in making this year’s event possible.
