On June 28, 2014, Senator Ngo travelled to Toronto with Senator Enverga and Senator Seth for the Philippine Pincy Fiesta and Trade Show. As well as emphasizing the strong ties between Canada and the Philippines, Canada generously offered $800,000 of humanitarian funding to immediately (help) the numerous families affected by the unstable conflicts of Mindanao Island.
