Taiwan Night and CVN Tet Gala

On February 23, Senator Ngo attended the “Taiwan Night” Lunar New Year celebration hosted by the Taipei Economic Cultural Office in Toronto. The Senator welcomed this New Year of the Dog with more than four hundred Taiwanese Canadians and leaders of the Taiwanese business community in the Greater Toronto Area. In his speech, the Senator celebrated the Earth Dog for its kindness, loyalty and courage. On February 24, Senator Ngo welcomed and celebrated the Year of the Dog at the Canadian Vietnamese Network’s (CVN) Lunar New Year (Tet) Gala in Toronto. This is the first event of its kind and aimed to showcase the cultural traditions, cuisine and talents of the Vietnamese Canadian community.
